Dr. Amir Bajoghli
Board-Certified Dermatologist & Mohs Surgeon
A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. Amir Bajoghli founded Skin & Laser Dermatology Center to bring world-class dermatologic and surgical care close to home. With more than 25 years of experience, he is a recognized leader in skin cancer treatment, cosmetic dermatology, and advanced laser surgery, and is widely regarded by colleagues as a “doctor’s doctor.”
He cares for patients from the local community and from around the world, combining surgical excellence with individualized, heartfelt attention at both the McLean and Woodbridge offices.

Beyond the Practice
An accomplished triathlete, Dr. Bajoghli completed Ironman Maryland in 2019. On weekends he enjoys cycling, tennis, and photography, and spending time with his wife, a practicing architect in Northern Virginia, and their three sons.
He has presented scientific papers at national meetings and authored numerous articles and textbook chapters on dermatology and the latest techniques in skin cancer surgery.
